MARINE SGT MAJ ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT AT

We don't know exactly what words were said there, or weren't, but our CI's tell us Marine Sergeant Major Paul Archie may have earned himself an Article 15 or even a bust one stripe, back to Marine first sergeant.
The burly Marine and combat veteran of fighting in Iraq is in trouble because he was caught on video tape getting in a loud argument with a former USMC drill instructor
The complaint was filed by a former Marine D.I. named Ethan Arguerro - who alleges Archie got into a shouting match with the ex-drill instructor, and, in the course of a heated exchange of words, literally knocked Arguerro's Marine campaign hat clean off his head.
TOTAL LOSS OF CONTROL
Then, police papers show, Archie attempted to leave with the other man's personal property, i.e. the campaign hat.
Archie has been in the Corps for some 27 years and should have known better than to lose control of himself in public like that. It looks like the senior enlisted advisor at U.S. Marine Corps Depot.
Since the protestors were critical of alleged Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl, it is possible the former D.I. may have made an uncomplimentary reference to Barak Hussein Obama in regard to the highly offensive trade of five top Taliban killers for SGT Bergdahl.
The biggest mistake of all was ripping off the protestor's personal property, I.e. the "Smokey Bear" campaign hat. Archie will have a hard time explaining his actions before the commanding officer at MCRD.
We can sympathize with the Marine E-9's anger at seeing the former drill instructor wear that hat at a protest rally, but Archie showed a lack of control that may result in an Article 15, loss of one stripe and likely will hang on to his campaign hat.
