WILL CLARK HAVE TO PAY BACK GOVERNMENT
FOR HIS FOUR YEARS COLLEGE EDUCATION?

Just days before graduation, a star football player at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs has been kicked out.

Officialdom is mum on the reason, citing the "Privacy Act," but MilitaryCorruption.com has learned the senior cadet was dumped because of alleged illegal drug use.

Asher Clark, the second leading rusher in AFA history, was a starter on the Falcons all four years he attended the academy. The 5' 8" running back from Lawrenceville, Ga. was bounced just days before he was to graduate and accept an officer's commission in the U.S. Air Force.

Now, his status is unclear.

In most cases, if a military academy student - West Point, Annapolis, the Air Force Academy - is removed from the rolls for cause (disciplinary action), that individual is liable to pay back the government for whatever years college education he (or she) has already received.

For Clark, that would be a sizeable sum, as he was just days from getting his diploma.

WHAT ABOUT THE COST OF HIS COLLEGE EDUCATION?

The news is the talk of the Colorado campus, our CI's say. Other cadets are wondering if Clark will be allowed to leave the military and go straight to the National Football League (where mega-millions of dollars await him) without him performing his six-year active duty obligation. They also speculate, if he does that, at what rank will he serve? Clark cannot be a second lieutenant without first achieving graduation, so if he remains in the USAF, it would be as an enlisted man.

If the 23 year-old gridiron great signed up with, for example, the Cincinnati Bengals, he could pay back his education cost out of chump change. But will the rules be bent for a celebrity? Stay tuned.

One comment we saw from "Mike P" summed up some of the bad feeling: "This idiot got a full four-year ride at the taxpayers' expense, plus he got paid every month and he threw it away because he couldn't stay off the weed. What type of decisions would he have made as an officer? Bad ones, pretty much."
