Rarely have we seen a court-martial where the accuser has been so thoroughly discredited and exposed as a fraud and liar. If the "rape" charge against SFC Carlos Reynolds of the 2nd Infantry Division's 302nd Brigade Support Bn. had been heard by a civilian judge, the case would be tossed out and the prosecutors disciplined for wasting the court's time by perpetrating an injustice. However, this is the Army, boys and girls, and "political correctness" can yet swing this trial in the "victim's" favor.

A highly-respected senior NCO and acting first sergeant of his unit, Reynolds was blasted as a "powerful predator" who "stalked" his innocent victims - female enlisted soldiers - prosecutor CPT Charles Halverson piously pronounced.

His purple prose was quickly demolished by the sworn testimony of several Noncoms and former supervisors of the private who cited her reputation as a "habitual liar."

FALSE ACCUSER HAS NO CREDIBILITY AT ALL, SUPERVISORS SAY

"She's absolutely untrustworthy," said Sgt. Shalika Woods, who at one time was the accuser's immediate boss at Camp Casey.

SFC Jeffrey Murphy told the court he wouldn't believe anything the private said, "unless I had actual proof."

A staff sergeant chimed in with the others, calling the "victim" an "untruthful person."

To top off all the damaging testimony, as well as praise for Reynold's professionalism as a soldier, MilitaryCorruption.com has confirmed that the female private was recently slapped with an Article 15 for making "false official statements" in regard to an investigation of another sergeant at the Korea-based Army post.

All this would cause most people to say: "Enough already. The accusers's credibility is shot and the sergeant first class should be acquitted."

But the race and gender card have been played, and the alleged "victim," who is female and minority, stands a better than even chance of getting away with her false charges.

The volatile case has been a constant subject of conversation at Camp Casey, where soldiers are afraid to openly express their views on the above-mentioned court-martial. They fear retribution if SFC Reynolds is convicted.

"If she (the accuser) gets away with this, morale is going straight to hell," said a disgusted soldier to one of MCC's sources in the courtroom.
