Like any Air Force bedroom community, Niceville, FL has its share of cheating trophy wives, druggies, abusers and sex fiends, but little did the residents of this upscale neighborhood know what went on in a virtual "house of horrors" located just minutes from Hurlburt Field and Eglin Air Force Base.
This year, Bloomberg Businessweek called Niceville "the best place to raise your kids in Florida." Guess the survey takers didn't stop at the home of Lt. Col. Dennis Jack.
Investigators say Jack and his wife Tiffany literally "tortured" two adopted kids with punishments straight out of the Devil's playbook.
MADE TO RUN UNTIL COLLAPSE
The couple's two 7 year-old girls were subjected to such abuse as being made to sit on a toilet seat for hours on end; having to wear soiled diapers on their heads; and being forced to run in circles until they collapsed and/or vomited.
The 41 year-old light colonel, assigned to Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio, was arrested at his home in Florida Dec. 1st (he is on leave) and charged with cruelty toward children and tampering with evidence. He is out on a mere $4000 bond.
His sour-faced wife had been taken into custody in late November, and already has been sprung on $5000 bond.
A TIP TO THE POLICE BRINGS HELP
The torture sessions were revealed when one of the little girls got word to a neighbor who called the police.
Hardened cops were horrified to hear about the "calisthenics punishment," deprivation of food, and attempted brainwashing of victims to resist answering questions.
"They (mom and dad) didn't want us talking about the bad stuff," one of the children explained.
MALNOURISHED . . . SCARS ON THEIR BODIES
The abuse stories were corroborated by the many scars and wounds on the kid's bodies. One of the girls was so malnourished, her ribs were showing against her skin.
When asked why she joined in the child cruelty, Tiffany snapped it was her way of fighting stress. "I didn't want to have to deal with them and their stuff," she said.
We hope both the fast-burner "colonel" and his evil frau will be dealt with accordingly and receive sufficient "justice" when they appear in Okaloosa County Court on Dec. 18. MilitaryCorruption.com will have a reporter there, and we'll definitely keep you posted.
