FIFTY YEARS IN THE SLAMMER - EGLIN AFB CAPTAIN CONVICTED ON "SEX" CHARGES GETS NO MERCY FROM COURT-MARTIAL JURY - SHAMEFUL DAY FOR AIR FORCE AS OTHERS RECALL "SLAP ON THE WRIST" FOR TOP JAG GEN FISCUS AND CROOKED DEPUTY COL MURPHY WHO LIED ABOUT STATUS OF LAW LICENSE - WAS DISBARRED IN TWO STATES - OSI AND TOP BRASS CAN COMMIT CRIMES WITH IMPUNITY - FEAR NO PUNISHMENT Read our previous three stories on the disgraceful court-martial proceedings at Eglin AFB where the burden of proof was unnecessary and OSI bully boys and a hard-charging female JAG violated Capt. Devery Taylor's rights and got away with it. The 38 year-old officer was given fifty years in the slammer - in effect, a death sentence - if he doesn't get shanked in the shower before his time is up. Let's see now, there was no proof that "date rape" drugs were used. None was found. The "victims" were mostly so drunk they couldn't remember "exactly" what happened, and of course they were all "macho men" heterosexuals. They must be, why they'd never do those awful things otherwise - not unless they were FORCED to. Yeah. Right. That's the ticket. Taylor asked for a lawyer but his interrogators violated the Miranda Rule and kept on him. Five times he asked for the interview to stop. It didn't. Even the judge commented on the OSI's behavior, but in the final analysis, the jury knew what their job was - to convict the accused no matter what. And they did. Wherever retired Col. (once Maj. Gen.) Thomas J. Fiscus is, and his crooked deputy, Col. Michael Murphy, who was recently caught lying about not having a legal license for over 20 years as well as hiding the fact he'd been disbarred for misconduct in two states, they must be heaving a sigh of relief they didn't face court-martial or this kangaroo court assembled for the purpose of sending a gay officer to military prison. Fiscus and Murphy both presided over the deprivation of freedom for many a lower-ranker. But they were phony, fakes, and frauds themselves. Fiscus admitted to sex with twelve women, but we know there were more. Enlisted soldiers have lost their pension and gone to the DB for far less. But not the top legal officer in the Air Force, the one who should be held to a higher standard. Not he. Fiscus got to retire on a fat colonel's pension. No court-martial for him. Join the Air Force, boys and girls. If you get high enough rank you can get away with anything. But whatever you do, don't get in the "cross-hairs" of ambitious JAGS or brass that want to make an example, or you'll end up on greased railroad tracks straight to the prison gate.
