Retired Navy LTCDR Rebecca Dickinson is a very lucky woman. The former part-time whore for the "D.C. Madam" and "ethics" instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy, is laughing all the way to the bank, realizing she could have been court-martialed and booted out of the military with no pension or benefits.
When you "turn tricks" with powerful men, including perhaps, a few foreign agents as well as top-ranking Navy officers and at least one very big shot guy in the Bush Administration - he's an unashamed war profiteer - you live a dangerous life. What you know could get you killed, as it did her boss, Deborah Jean Palfrey and head hooker, Brandy Britton. Both those ladies were found very dead indeed, dangling from the end of a rope.
Statistics show that hanging is about the least preferred method of "suicide" for sensitive females, not wanting to risk a botched, failed attempt or the ugly result of not being found before the eyeballs pop and tongue swells and sticks out like a stuck pig. Not a pretty sight, take it from us.
MANY CRIMES - NO PUNISHMENT
CAN YOU SPELL "QUID PRO QUO?"
It's been nearly two years since Dickinson cut her deal with the Navy and the feds. Can you imagine someone like her, violating all security clearance regulations, not reporting her more than considerable prostitution income to the IRS, engaging in what the JAG's love to call "conduct unbecoming an officer," and still she gets to walk free on all charges. No court martial for her.
Britton and Palfrey's fatal mistake was to talk like they were a threat, especially the "D.C. Madam" herself. She vowed to expose her well-heeled client list, hinting that the names on there rivaled the society register for big shots and "movers and shakers."
Palfrey was smart to go on radio talk shows where she said if found dead, it would be murder or she "suicided." The 52 year-old madam was a tough gal and vowed to fight to the end. Not a candidate to do away with herself.
Enter government "conspiracy" debunker and onetime investigative journalist Dan Moldea. How convenient of him to suddenly remember that Palfrey allegedly told him just before her death by hanging in a metal shed in Florida, that she would "never" go back to jail again. Moldea alleges, no witnesses or tape mind you, that Palfrey vowed she would kill her self first. A cover-story that might work. TIME Magazine ran with it and the undocumented claim gave cover to many other news organizations that didn't dare or want to "go there" and find out the facts on what really happened.
Readers of this website (see related stories box below) will recall that Palfrey was discovered by her aged mother, swinging from the end of a rope. The D.C. madam was dead indeed, in a hot, metal shed near momma's trailer in Florida. Would a loving daughter put her 76 year-old mom through that? We doubt it.
MEDIA GOES ALONG WITH GOVT
VERSION OF PALFREY DEATH
The "mainstream media," with unseemly haste, managed to "move right along, nothing to see here, folks," and didn't dig at all to see if Palfrey had been "tazered" and her head inserted inside the noose while she was out cold. A chloroform soaked rag over the mouth works in just a few seconds. A certain little "Miss Moneybags" in Texas knows that for sure.
As for the unreleased copies of the two Palfrey "suicide" notes, those who work with the CIA and other agencies know experts can easily duplicate one's handwriting style. After the killing of Admiral Mike Boorda, where the "official" story said he left two "suicide notes," both typewritten and unsigned, before he allegedly shot himself in the gut with a low caliber handgun, that that tall tale wouldn't fly twice.
Yet the "death by hanging" was carried out two times. There are many ways Britton and Palfrey could have died, but the one that sends a chill down most spines, is death by hanging for females who decide to end it all. How many women you know are experts at tying a strong knot, one that will do the job and not cause a slow, agonizing, twisting and twitching suffocation death.
Both ladies being murdered by the same method sends a loud and clear message to one and all. Run your mouth in public and you will die, and in the most excruciating way possible. Only the electric chair is worse for a woman than having her pretty little neck snapped like a twig. A botched hanging is a horrible sight to behold.
NO "ROPE AROUND NECK"
IF YOU KEEP MOUTH SHUT
Dickinson got the message, and you can count on her to stay "shut up" and keep low to the ground. No talking for her. She got a great deal for testifying against Palfrey. But can she live with what she did? Apparently. One of our sources e-mailed us: "she bragged about cutting a deal, and recent court documents claimed she was retiring as an 0-4. No reduction in rank for her."
MilitaryCorruption.com scored a major exclusive on that angle when we were the first news organization to quote a Navy spokesperson saying Dickinson would retain her rank and retire on a fat pension. Three days later, NAVY TIMES, giving us a rare credit for an exclusive story, checked their own sources, talked to different Navy flak who confirmed our story.
After MCC and NAVY TIMES ran the item, the Pentagon was quick to contact us and claim they were" mistaken," and that Dickinson was retiring at 0-3 after all. We shall see. The Navy PAO didn't offer any proof, citing the "Privacy Act" as an excuse not to send us some paper with confirmation of Dickinson's retirement status. That old adage: "Crime doesn't pay" apparently doesn't apply to her.
