EINSIG JR. CONFESSES GUILT TO CIVILIAN COPS
IN PENNSYLVANIA: "I DID IT. YOU GOT ME."
This is a story that often is told.
A pretty girl, usually in her late teens, walks into a military recruiting office and winds up in the arms of a cunning and "worldly-wise" sergeant, petty officer, or whatever branch of the service, non-commissioned officer.
The result is almost always the same. Sooner or later the illicit sex is discovered and another veteran military man is on his way to the jail house, his career in the armed forces over.
Such was the case of Army SSG Jeffrey Einsig Jr., a 28 year-old recruiter based in Hanover, Pa.
The Mount Wolf, Pa. man took one look at a certain 17 year-old potential "recruit" waltzing through the door and decided it was worth the risk. That was a big mistake.
TEEN GIRL'S MOM GET'S WIND OF WHAT GOING ON AND CALLS COPS
At first all went well. The impressionable and not-so-naive teen girl and her Army "lover boy" met for steamy sessions in a nearby park. But the girl's mother got suspicious, did some checking, and found out her daughter was seeing the unprincipled sergeant.
She called the Pennsylvania State Police and soon Einsig had confessed to his crimes. The girl also broke down under questioning and confirmed details of the affair.
So far, Einsig, who remains on duty - but not as a recruiter - has been charged with "corruption of a minor" and alleged sexual intercourse with the teenage girl. His arraignment in Adams County Court is set for January 21.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion in Harrisburg, Pa. said UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) action is pending, once the civilian authorities are done with the "Romeo" NCO. |
