Readers of this mass circulation military web site - 1.6 million hits per month - know we have offered Air Force "poster girl," Maj. Jill Metzger, $100,000 to come clean and tell the true story of what really happened to her in Kyrgyzstan in September of 2006.

Hundreds of our readers have contacted us since we started our relentless investigation into this "cover-up" to express their disgust at Air Force Chief of Staff. Gen. T. Michael Moseley and other top brass hats who have oddly fallen all over themselves to genuflect in Jill's direction.

Now we have made our $100,000 offer "reward" money, payable to anyone - military or civilian - who can provide us with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who may be responsible for deceiving our men and women in uniform and defrauding the disability pension system.

Admiral Crowe"What does it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul?" reads the verse from the New Testament in the book of Matthew (16:26).

Yes, we know that old adage about "speak no ill of the dead," but we have an idea, from where the portly admiral is right now, he'd have a hard time reaching out to us in retribution. After all, we're doing something the "mainstream media" failed to do in their fawning and sanitized obituaries.

MilitaryCorruption.com is reminding you of the evil this once-respected military leader did later in his life. How he played a key role in the forced Anthrax shot $CAM that caused untold misery for tens of thousands of service members. And those are the ones who didn't die or become ill from the effects of the controversial shots. They simply lost their careers, and some went to prison.

Col. ChessaniIt's an injustice that is sure to adversely impact the morale of our U.S. Marines fighting in Iraq.

The senseless sacrifice of a fine officer and combat leader, Lt. Col. Jeffrey R. Chessani, may satisfy the "PC" wimps at the Pentagon, but it undermines and demoralizes officers and men who must make split-second decisions in combat that often spell the difference between life and death.

Chessani, 42, the former commander of 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, wasn't even at Haditha when the shootings took place. November 19, 2005 was the date when a patrol of Marines were ambushed with a roadside bomb, one Grunt killed, and his buddies shot dead some 20 Iraqi civilians, including (as they later discovered) women and children.

Undoubtedly, it was the worst day of Charles Riecher's life. The 47 year-old retired Air Force colonel picked up a copy of the October 1st Washington POST and learned his "no-show job" for a Pentagon-favored "non-profit" Pennsylvania corporation had just been exposed.

Nearly $30,000 for no work at all. Before his suicide 13 days later, he admitted to the newspaper that "I really didn't do anything for CRI (Commonwealth Research Institute). I got a paycheck from them."

Indeed he did, while waiting to assume his new duties as the number two man in the Air Force's procurement office. And that windfall came to Riecher from a corporation closely linked to controversial Congressman John Murtha.

For 23 years, Air Force Col. Michael D. Murphy practiced law without a license. In fact, he was disbarred as an attorney by two states - Texas and Louisiana - in the early 1980's. But all the time the clever Murphy was climbing the JAG ladder of success, apparently the brass above him had no idea he was a fraud.

The senior officer was well-connected, having served at the White House and in Iraq. At the time he was relieved of command last November, Murphy was top dog at the Air Force Legal Operations Agency at Bolling AFB in Washington, D.C.

Murphy's troubles highlight the double-standard in the Air Force regarding JAG officers getting away with crimes that others would be severely punished for. A case in point is that of former Maj. Gen. Thomas J. Fiscus, chief JAG officer of the USAF, who admitted affairs with more than a dozen women. Despite his high position of authority and the shame he brought to his office, the two-star avoided a court-martial and escaped justice with a rank reduction and small fine. His pension, albeit a smaller one, is intact.

Just when you think things finally quieted down at Carlisle Barracks despite the hapless "leadership" of the troubled commandant, Gen. David Huntoon, another scandal has rocked the once-respected Army installation.

Two colonels, both 2007 graduates at the Army War College, are accused of "tampering with public records and evidence, forgery, theft and obstruction of justice." Each officer faces possible jail time and the certain end of their military career.

Col. Scott Carlson, 51 and his onetime pal, Lt. Col. Bruce Adkins, 44, are both on the hot seat after officials in Cumberland County, Pa. caught them trying to pull a stunt that a couple of privates would have known better than to attempt.

He had it made. Why did a 33 year-old Marine master sergeant with a wife and two kids risk everything to send "inappropriate" e-mails and photos to a person on the Internet who posed as a teenage girl?

Michael McNany, stationed at the Marine Corps Logistics Base at Albany, Ga. is free on $50,000 bail after his arrest Sept. 17 on charges he solicited sex from a "girl" on the Internet whom he allegedly believed to be only 15 years old.

The NCO, who joined the Marines in 1992 and had a previously clean record, was taken into custody at his Lee County, Ga. home. His attorney, Page Pate of Atlanta, says the sergeant will be proven "innocent" of the charges when all the facts are known.

One of the best new military books this year has caused quite a stir among certain quarters at the Pentagon. "Scorpion Down" by veteran investigative reporter Ed Offley (www.scorpiondown.com) has aroused the ire of certain powers that be and the result has been a series of negative articles and so-called book reviews which have hysterically attacked the tome with such overkill you know the dogs have been loosed. And why. The top Navy brass and Pentagon fat cats want the truth buried as to what happened to this submarine some 40 years ago.

We read one of the diatribes which said Offley, a respected veteran of the Norfolk, Va. LEDGER-STAR; Seattle POST-INTELLIGENCER, DefenseWatch magazine and currently military reporter for the Panama City, Fla. NEWS-HERALD, is a "hack writer" who has "urinated on the graves of 99 dead sailors."

Few politicians are more roundly loathed in the Marine Corps today than that fat bag of wind, the loud-mouthed congressman from Pennsylvania, John Murtha. And deservedly so, after the Democrat hack publicly declared Marines "guilty" of "cold-blooded murder" in a 2005 incident at Hadithah, Iraq even before the case had been investigated.

Apparently getting his pumpkin head on TV was more important than reason and restraint. Just because a lawmaker is supposedly immune from lawsuits for defaming others on the floor of the House or Senate, doesn't make it right to do so.

The media spread Murtha's condemnation of his fellow Marines - the politician was allegedly in combat in Vietnam and not back "in the rear with the gear" - far and wide, and if there ever was a case of "command influence," this is it.

But the "politically-correct" newspaper, owned by the same "unbiased" folks who bring you USA TODAY, has sunk to a new low with its latest unabashed "valentine" to Air Force Chief-of-Staff, Gen. T. Michael Moseley.

Slugged breathlessly as "EXCLUSIVE" is a long feature article/interview complete with sidebar story and laudatory editorial. The whole thing takes up three full pages and reads like a Pentagon press release. Who knows? Maybe it is.

Erik Holmes is the "writer," the same fellow the TIMES assigned to their non-coverage of the Maj. Jill Metzger cover-up [see "related stories box" at end of this article]. So we were not surprised to read he wrote - get this - that "Moseley earns high marks for leadership style from those who know and watch him closely.

CAME FROM CONTRACTOR'S "MOONLIGHTING"

Federal agents were waiting for ex-Army Col. Robert Groves at the Philadelphia Airport when he returned to the States from Iraq. When they caught him with stacks of $100 bills hidden in his luggage and on his person, the former brass hat said: "I won the (loot) in a high-stakes poker game." The cops didn't buy that explanation, and soon Groves admitted the stash of cash was undeclared money he'd made "on the side" while working for a Pennsylvania company with government contracts in the Middle East.

One would think a retired full-bird with a fat pension to fall back on wouldn't be so greedy as try to fool Uncle Sam and the IRS, but Groves took a chance and found out he came up short. Still, he got off with a relative "wrist-slap" when Judge Harvey Bartle III ordered him to do five months in jail and pay a $30,000 fine. In addition, Groves forfeited the unreported $50,000 he tried to sneak into the country.

He could have been sent away for up to 16 months, according to federal sentencing guidelines, for smuggling cash into the USA.
