DEATH OF GEN. NEGRETE
It was the controversial DiMaio who blew off the disturbing death of Air Force Col. Philip Shue in 2003 as a "suicide" when a preponderance of evidence clearly proved otherwise.
An independent autopsy, conducted by famed forensic patholigist Dr. Cyril Wecht, found that the colonel's demise "cannot be simply labeled a suicide. It is more likely that another person or persons played a role in his death."
BREAK IN GREEN BERET MURDER CASE!
A guilty conscience that, according to former deputy U.S. Marshal Jimmy Britt, became "too much to bear," has resulted in the North Carolina man coming forward to reveal Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald was denied justice in his 1979 trial for the murder of his wife and children at Ft. Bragg, N.C. 35 years ago.
The startling revelation was made in a sworn affidavit from Britt submitted to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Va. Lawyers for the former Green Beret captain are seeking the appeals court's permission to present the new evidence to the U.S. District Court in Raleigh, N.C.
We at MilitaryCorruption.com feel the long ordeal of Dr. MacDonald - the ex-Special Forces officer has always maintained he was innocent of the crimes - should now be ended. MacDonald's conviction should be overturned and the wrongly imprisoned man finally set free. And we hope he "sues the hell out of" one and all who railroaded him into prison in the first place.

This is an appeal to all U.S. Navy chief petty officers, past and present, who may have served with the late CPO Tom Traylor, last stationed at the little-publicized China Lake Naval installation in California.
Please download this message and the two attached investigative articles - see "related stories box" below - and disseminate them as widely as possible throughout the fleet and all land bases at Navy installations from Rota, Spain to Yokasuka, Japan. We need your help, and we need it now.
MilitaryCorruption.com is preparing a third major article on the mysterious death - we call it murder - of the highly-respected Navy veteran of 15 years service who was killed, then his death covered up as just another "suicide," by those who wished to silence him forever.
ARMY OFFICER CHARGED WITH
As if President George Bush didn't have enough trouble selling a war that, like Vietnam, is turning into political quicksand, the latest bad news out of Iraq is that an Army lt. colonel has been nailed for war profiteering. Maybe he should have been a stockholder in Halliburton. Then he could have amassed his wealth with no exposure to jail time.
As it is, Army Reserve LTC Michael Wheeler is in a world of trouble. According to charges brought in Federal District Court of the District of Columbia, the 47 year-old field-grade officer, who helped supervise millions of dollars in reconstruction projects in Iraq during the past couple years, is a low-down crook.
According to court papers, the colonel from Amherst Junction, Wis., conspired with others in an "extensive bribery, kickback and smuggling scheme" run out of the Coalition Provisional Authority office in Hilla, near Baghdad. That organization was tasked with running occupied Iraq right after the 2003 invasion.
WHO RUBBED FEMALE'S FEET
It never would have come to this if Brig. Gen. Richard Hassan, former director of the Air Force Senior Leadership Management Office in Washingon, hadn't made at least one powerful enemy among the top brass.
After all, the "crimes" Hassan was accused of were not sexual in nature and no harm, physical or psychological, came to any of his "victims." The general, not unlike some fellow flag officers, had a weird fetish, but his was relatively harmless. He liked to rub women's feet. Maybe, like other high-ranking bosses with a wire or two loose upstairs, he'd rather have kissed their tootsies instead, but nonetheless, his eccentric whim cost him his career.
Charged with "inappropriate relationships" with female subordinates, Hassan opted to accept nonjudicial punishment - an Article 15 - and quietly retire. He will get a letter of reprimand and be ordered to pay a small fine.
AIDE TO GEN. OMAR BRADLEY
Thanksgiving came a day late this year for Charles Honeycutt, but it was well worth the wait. November 25th marked the end of a long, cruel ordeal that the elderly and sick former aide to Gen. of the Army Omar Bradley was forced to endure as the result of criminal acts by Army officials who sought to "rip off," as Honeycutt described it, his beloved .45 caliber commemorative issue handgun given him by the general's late wife, Kitty.
"I treasured that beautiful gun, issued in Gen. Bradley's name, and intended to pass it on to my son when I am gone," Honeycutt told MCC's California correspondent. "But that dream was almost destroyed by the cruel and callous actions of Gen. David Huntoon and his 'designated representative,' retired LTC Conrad Crane."
The longtime Bradley aide explained that when the general's wife died at age 79 in 2004, she left her entire estate to the United States Army. Officials led by Crane, soon arrived at the Rancho Mirage, Calif. mansion "like a pack of hungry locusts" to load up and send back to Carlisle Barracks, Pa. all the loot they could find.
OFFICERS AT FORT RILEY CAUGHT
How many times over the years have U.S. military members been busted or sent to prison on the basis of perjured testimony, prompted by promises of a "deal" from over-zealous prosecutors? Get out your calculator and start adding up the numbers. It's that bad.
Well, in the case of Army 2LT Erick Anderson of the 1st Bn., 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, chances are good he won't be "railroaded" into Leavenworth DB after all. Not after a soldier the JAG thought was playing ball with them pulled a big surprise.
Oh, to be "a bug on the wall" watching the expressions on the faces of the prosecution team as PVT Michael Williams testified at an Article 32 hearing at Fort Riley, Kan. that Anderson did not, repeat not, order the killing of an unarmed civilian in the northeastern section of Baghdad, Iraq in August 2004.
