Grab a net. Call out the men in white coats to bring along a strait-jacket.
The crazed and highly-controversial Marine Commandant, Gen. James Amos (widely called "Gen. Anus" throughout the Corps), may be ready for the rubber room sooner than you think.
Obama's simpering sycophant is generating more negative headlines. And the "commander-in-chief," once amused by his obsequious toady, now may fire him and seize the opportunity to make history by naming a female lesbian as the next USMC commandant.
Hussein's old gang back at "Man's Country" in Chicago would be thrilled.
AMOS IN TROUBLE - AGAIN
Here's the latest mess Amos has gotten himself into . . .
Some 27 retired and former Maine and Navy judge advocates and lawyers have gone public with a letter to Congress demanding an investigation of the commandant's blatant violations of the UCMJ.
The unprecedented missive declares that angry Amos is guilty of "denying Marines due process," abusing the discovery process, and making false official statements, knowing them to be misleading and factually untrue.
Enraged and embarrassed by bad publicity coming from the "Taliban corpse urination" caper, Amos crossed the line when he demanded the convening authority in the case, Lt. Gen, Thomas D. Waldhauser, "crush" the accused Marines - a clear case of exerting "unlawful command influence."
Waldhauser, unlike Amos, is an honorable man, and refused to carry out the illegal order. He was promptly fired.
ON THE COMMANDANT'S "HIT LIST"
Gen. Amos sought to destroy the career of the bad-boy Marines' company commander, Capt. James Clement, who unlike the top-ranking Marine boss, has earned the right to wear the coveted USMC "Combat Action Ribbon."
Clement wasn't there when the pissing incident took place, and didn't even know about it until much later on.
When Marine lawyer Maj. Jim Weirick grew concerned with the commandant's conduct, he filed an I.G. complaint. Amos swiftly retaliated. His goons escorted the major from his office and implied he was some sort of "danger" to either himself or the Corps. A trip to the headshrinker was suggested.
If anyone needs to get mental health counseling, it is the troubled James Amos. As one colonel told us, "he's the worst ever" Marine leader ,and his megalomaniacal actions have caused Marine morale to tank.
It's time for BAM to cut him loose and send the general to see a shrink, where he can get his meds and retire into well-deserved obscurity.
