He was an Army NCO and CID agent, empowered to arrest other people. Now he's the one going to prison.

Jeremy Drews will be behind bars for the next six years, after pleading guilty to one count of receipt and distribution of material involving the sexual exploitation of children.

The sicko sergeant was arrested in his El Paso home last November after investigators were tipped off the 33 year-old soldier was involved in the dirty business.

U.S. District Court Judge Kathleen Cardone ordered Drews to spend 15 years under "supervised release" upon the conclusion of his prison time. He was also fined $500.

Sources say the ex-CID gumshoe was caught with some 40 films and 2400 images on his home computer of youngsters being exploited and sexually abused.
