It's happened again. For the second time in the last 30 days, the senior enlisted man - "chief of boat" - on a U.S. Navy vessel, has been fired for an alcohol-related offense.

The latest top-ranking chief to get the axe is Master Chief Petty Officer Kelvin Coleman, CMC of the destroyer, USS Stethem.

The 7th Fleet tin can, based at Yokosuka, put to sea a few days ago minus it's former E-9. Coleman has been reassigned to desk duties at Destroyer Squadron 15 pending further punitive action.

It's obvious the Navy is very serious about disciplining high-ranking chiefs and ship commanders when booze is involved. "Horrible Holly Graf" never needed an alcohol "buzz" to turn herself into a monster. She's just naturally mean and obnoxious.

TWO TOP CHIEFS FIRED FOR DUI OFFENSE

The previous relief took place when boy-wonder, Senior Chief Yeoman Savan Patel, was canned for getting tanked up while COB of the fast-attack submarine USS Louisville.

A 32 year-old native of Edison, N.J., Patel was described by less-than-admiring crew-mates as a "belligerent drunk" when he got loaded.

Some might say the LOUISVILLE is a bad-luck boat. The previous COB on the sub was Daniel Jones. He was busted last year on child-porn charges.
