“KILLER” COLONEL PLEADS GUILTY
ADMITS HE MURDERED WIFE AFTER SHE
CAUGHT HIM VIEWING PORN
ON CARLISLE BARRACKS COMPUTER

You read it first, here on MilitaryCorruption.com. Last April we broke the EXCLUSIVE story no one else had – that the “motive” in the brutal beating death of Suzanne Bartlett at Carlisle Barracks was because she caught her LTC husband viewing pornography on his home computer.

Despite an all-out effort by THE DUMMY, otherwise known as the “bumbling PAO,” LTC James MacNeil, and his “pal,” the PMO, nicknamed by his troops (behind his back) THE THUG, to “suppress the news” and “hunt down” our many CI’s (confidential informants) on post, we still got the news out.

HOW THE MURDER HAPPENED

Now it can be told. The whole story of how Bartlett had been viewing porn on his PC for the past few years. His wife had caught him before, and the former Sunday school teacher had promised to reform, but soon he was back doing it again - ogling the perverted images that flicked across his computer screen well into the night.

In a military courtroom at Fort Meade, Md. on Sept. 30, the 46 year-old failed light colonel told of how he flipped out when Suzanne confronted him the evening of March 19, 2002.

He said she “screamed” at him and pushed the colonel “up against the wall.” Bartlett said he used a six-inch metal pestle to bash in his wife’s head. Just to make sure Suzanne was dead, he strangled her with the computer cord. Then he said he dragged the battered, bloody and lifeless body out to the nearby creek and dumped her in.

LTC Bartlett thus claimed his act of extreme violence was “unpremeditated” murder. And he entered a guilty plea in hopes he would escape the life imprisonment that surely awaited him.

We at MilitaryCorruption.com told you months ago that the Army was loath to court-martial Bartlett. Too much dirty laundry would be on display and Carlisle Barracks’ reputation had already been blackened. No, prosecutors wouldn’t seek the death penalty if they could get a plea bargain and avoid all that BAD publicity. And that’s the way it worked out.

In our six previous feature stories on this crime, ALL the facts we reported ahead of everyone else were proven to be absolutely accurate. We used to measure our daily “hits” from the Barracks and surrounding community in the dozens. Now it is in the hundreds.

In the plea bargain deal, prosecutors dropped two other charges - of “assault” and “obstruction of justice.”
Bartlett is scheduled to be sentenced on October 28th. He is being held in the Marine Corps “brig” at Quantico, Virginia.
