But, every once in a while, we get “taken in” by a source which appears to be credible, but in reality has a “hidden agenda.”
Such was the case of former U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Lyle Koenig.
While we interviewed several women he “came on to,” or had a consensual sexual relationship with – and we do not endorse such behavior, clearly conduct unbecoming an officer – we regret to admit we were manipulated into unnecessarily “pounding” the former head of Special Operations at Hurlburt Field, Fla.
One story on Gen. Koenig would have been sufficient, but we did several. In retrospect, it was clearly a case of “overkill,” and for that we are truly sorry. Those stories have now been removed from the MilitaryCorruption.com archives.
We are grateful to Gen. Koenig for his understanding and appreciate his willingness to forgive our, at times, cruel comments.
Lyle, I agree, we have “a lot to talk about” in the days and weeks ahead. I look forward to sharing information with you that I think will be beneficial to both of us.
May you, your wife Lucille, and your son Curt, have a much happier “New Year” in 2005 than you had in the past year.
