It started two weeks ago with 34 officers implicated or admitted to cheating on monthly test questions regarding operation of the nation's inter-continental ballistic missiles.

That was bad enough.

Now we learn, nearly 100 launch officers at Malmstrom AFB Montana have been decertified and taken off watch duty. That's nearly 20% of the entire force.

ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER

The whole thing blew up during a routine drug investigation.

OSI discovered some launch officers were texting to each other answers to a monthly test on their knowledge of how to operate the deadly missiles entrusted to their care.

Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James says (as of Jan. 30) 92 of the officers were on the griddle and possibly more may be implicated.

Sleep well, America.
