How the hell did a whack job like PFC Bradley Manning get in a position where he could access supposedly secret files and information that, if you believe Army prosecutors, caused serious damage to the security of the United States?
Perhaps the Pentagon would be wiser to find out who allowed the low-ranking soldier to obtain an estimated 700,000 files he's alleged to have downloaded onto his personal computer and leaked to a left-wing web site. But don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen. It's CYA, all the way. As usual.
The (Sen.) Lindsey Graham "look-alike" is already known for being "light in the loafers," although the PC mainstream media have soft-pedaled his sexual orientation. But some of his more flamboyant tantrums are not public knowledge.
PFC GIVES FEMALE SUPERVISOR A "KNUCKLE-SANDWICH"
A source at the pint-sized private's Article 32 hearing at Fort Meade, Md. tells MilitaryCorruption.com Manning "feels he's a woman trapped in a male body." The troubled PFC was described as "hysterical" and "at times, violent."
The WikiLeaks soldier is said to have flipped over a table and lunged at a captain while screaming at the top of his lungs and "getting up in the face" of another officer.
One female, intelligence analyst Jihrleah Showman, found out the hard way, Manning's a big-time misogynist. The 5 foot 2 inch, 110-pound private hauled off and punched her in the face.
WARNINGS MANNING "UNSTABLE" IGNORED BY BRASS
Showman said on several occasions she warned supervisors that Manning was unstable and should not be allowed to handle unclassified material.
So what does the Army do? Enable an obviously disturbed individual to get his mitts on secret material, which he wasted no time sharing with entities not known to be supporters of the U.S. military. Dumb.
If any scapegoats emerge in this mess, it won't be officers field-grade and above.
