NAVY MASTER CHIEF FIRED OFF DESTROYER

This isn't the first time the top enlisted sailor aboard the USS Stout has been relieved of duty.
Back in 2011, we reported that CMC Susan Bruce-Ross and her skipper, CMDR Nathan Borchers, (see related stories box below) walked the plank after the Navy brass caught wind of a cover-up regarding the ship's crew misbehavior in a port-of-call. It had to do with alcohol.
Now, another E-9 is in trouble. It's 23-year Navy veteran Albert Marcucci.
IT WAS A FEMALE ABOARD THE STOUT
The native of Apple Valley, Calif. was accused of having an "overly familiar relationship" with a subordinate female aboard the Norfolk-based tin can. CMDR Andrew Fitzpatrick, the ship's commanding officer, pulled the trigger on Marcucci,
He gave the master chief a career-ending letter of reprimand, Because the case did not go to court-martial and was considered an in-house, non-judicial action, we can provide no other details of what actually transpired, at this time.
We do know that Marcucci was also tagged for making a "false official statement."
The CMC first came aboard the Stout in 2013 and has served tours of duty in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
