A Navy JAG officer who helped prosecute Lisa ("Houston, we have a problem") Nowak, the diaper-wearing spurned lover who totaled her military career over a jerk boyfriend, is going to jail for a long time.

LCDR Mark Tilford was sentenced By Judge Janis Graham in Corpus Christi, Tex. federal court to ten years in the slammer after he pled guilty to receiving and distributing child pornography. The pervert lawyer will have to register as a sex offender after he finishes his stretch in prison. That is, if he survives his incarceration. Inmates don't take kindly towards those who commit crimes against kids. Many of them are fathers, too.

Investigators say they found nearly 300 pix depicting tots in various sexual poses, as well as nearly 100 videos of assaults on underage boys and girls on the military attorney's personal computer.

"JAGS" CAN BE CRIMINALS TOO, YOU KNOW

Tilford is one of many JAGs that are criminals themselves, and cover up their misdeeds by sending others, sometimes innocent people, to prison. Television programs glorifying Navy JAGs are just so much bilge.

At deadline, we are not sure where the former Navy lieutenant commander will do time. Maybe he'll be sent to the North Carolina "country club" where ultimate sicko, West Point grad and ex-JAG officer MAJ Dan Woolverton, is doing a long sentence. He's the cretin (see related stories box below) who sodomized his own 6 month old infant child in a "home made" porn video.

His days as an attorney over, Tilford can reflect on the 16 years he served in the Navy and got away with being a disgusting lowlife.
