"ABOVE THE LAW!" - PAMPERED AND PROTECTED
JILL METZGER DISRESPECTS GENUINELY DISABLED
VETS - RUNS 40K MARINE CORPS MARATHON
AIR FORCE MAJOR RATED 100% "DISABLED"
$CAMS THE SYSTEM ONCE AGAIN - TIME RUNNING
OUT FOR USAF CHIEF-OF-STAFF TO DO RIGHT
THING - WILL GEN NORTON SCHWARTZ ORDER AN
INVESTIGATION OR CONTINUE THE "COVER-UP?"
"She's (Metzger) above the law," was the bitter complaint of a female runner in Sunday's (Oct. 26) Marine Corps Marathon. "How the hell can that (expletive deleted) be drawing a 100% disability check and come up here like a little queen and rub all our noses in it?"
The lady Marine has good reason to be sore.
Out of several thousand participants, it's a safe bet that Maj. Jill Metzger - currently on the TDRL (temporary disabled retired list) is the ONLY runner rated 100% "disabled" who competed in the grueling 40K event.
That she got away with it - and running in two other races, including the Air Force Marathon last month - shows how arrogant and "plugged in" Metzger is.
Of course, we have reported before, the statement of an OSI (Office of Special Investigations) agent who summed it up this way: "Word came down from above. Lay off her. She's got somebody big (a general) by the balls."
METZGER IMMUNE TO ANY PUNISHMENT -
PROTECTED STATUS REMAINS INTACT
We invite our new readers to check out the "related stories box" below, and also to click on SEARCH THIS SITE, located on the upper left-hand side of our MilitaryCorruption.com home page (type in "Jill Metzger" on subject line), to read the whole disgusting story of how Metzger allegedly faked her "kidnapping" in Kyrgyzstan, escaped any punishment under the UCMJ for possible crimes such as AWOL, making a false official statement, disobeying an order, let alone adultery and fraternization - and actually profited from the perfidy when a high-ranking enabler is said to have arranged for her to land a lucrative 100% "disability" check.
A white male NCO with no connections but guilty of the above-mentioned UCMJ violations would fast find himself hauled before a court-martial on his way to the Leavenworth DB. The least he'd get would be a BCD (bad conduct discharge).
But if you're a pampered and protected poster girl, two-time winner of the Air Force Marathon (2004, 2005), have a "deep-in-denial" doting daddy retired colonel, and an OSI agent "husband," apparently you're bulletproof and immune to military regulations that govern mere mortals.
WHY WON'T GEN. SCHWARTZ ORDER AN INVESTIGATION?
WILL THE COVER-UP CONTINUE?
So far, Air Force Chief-of-Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz has "looked the other way" and not ordered an investigation into the Metzger mess. She failed a polygraph, told contradictory stories about her so-called "abduction" overseas, and acted in a way that would not inspire confidence in her ability or willingness to tell the truth.
But informed sources say a certain three-star general knows his career could crash in ruins unless he protects the major. It's not so much a matter of he "wants" to do back-flips to favor her, he HAS to.
No general has ever been court-martialed in the 61-year history of the U.S. Air Force, nor is that likely to happen. So the obnoxious egotist we are referring to doesn't have to worry about an Article 32 hearing or even facing charges. The worst that can happen to him is being told he will have to retire "right away."
However, this brass hat wants a fourth star and has no inclination to get off the gravy train any time soon. So, as long as he stays in power, his pampered friend will be protected. An ugly situation indeed, and one that brings shame and dishonor to the United States Air Force.
[EDITOR'S NOTE: If you're reading this article and are a genuinely disabled veteran, or have a loved one who is, ask yourself if you would have received such favored treatment as Maj. Metzger obviously has. Are you drawing a 100% disability pension and did you start at the top percentage right off the bat? We know veterans who have an arm or leg shot off and they don't get 100%. Of course, they aren't a celebrity, either. Print out this article and send it to your congresspeople and senators. Send it to politically-correct publications like the DAV Magazine and ask them why they are ignoring this case. Peter Finch, the actor, shouted in the movie NETWORK: "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more." Are you?]
