What started out as a case of "favoritism" and "looking the other way" by top Air Force brass in the Maj. Jill Metzger cover-up has evolved into aiding and abetting the commission of a federal crime.
Accepting a dubious PTSD "disability" pension for so-called trauma resulting from the marathon runner's alleged "abduction and escape" from mysterious and more likely "mythical" captors in Kyrgyzstan last year, is a despicable act when we have genuinely wounded and disabled men and women returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan.
These less-privileged combat veterans, lacking Jill's high-level connections, will spend many years in pain and suffering, slowly navigating the V.A. system, fighting hard for every nickel and dime they can get from their lower disability ratings.
For those who live long enough, perhaps they can reach 100% in say, 15 to 20 years. It's a long, lonely battle for justice and equality when you don't have fat-cat generals at the top intimidating military "doctors" to make sure a "favored pet" starts out with the maximum disability rating, no matter how "bogus" the "diagnosis" may be.
WITHOUT SHAME OR INTEGRITY
To $CAM some $3000 tax-free monthly "disability" pension for life is a cruel slap-in-the-face to those deserving veterans who don't have an OSI-agent "hubby," a well-connected retired colonel father, and several top generals (Moseley, North, Corley) who, for reasons we can only imagine, have done "back-flips" to accommodate and protect Jill Metzger.
That they have operated behind a Stalinistic "wall of silence" - the Air Force has never issued any statement on their one-time "poster girl" - only increases suspicion the so-called "leadership" is morally corrupt and hiding their dishonest and shameful actions from view.
To enable a person to collect an undeserved federal pension is not only cheating our genuinely disabled veterans, it is ripping off the taxpayers. It is FRAUD, and there should be a jail cell reserved for those who engage in such deceit.
As long as the Pentagon public affairs officers spin their half-truths and lies to a lazy and indifferent "mainstream media," those of us who have been shouting from the rooftops for the truth to be known, will be attacked or ignored while Metzger laughs all the way to the bank.
If the pampered 34 year-old major actually "escaped and evaded" her alleged captors in the way her doting daddy told Air Force TIMES (Oct. 16, 2006) - "they beat her up pretty bad . . . she had a rope put around her neck" - then why hasn't intrepid Jill been awarded the Air Force Cross and sent on a whirlwind tour of the nation, recruiting other "super-achiever" women to join the military?
The answer is obvious.
Is it true, incredible as it sounds, that at one time Jill's enabler generals considered "quietly" awarding their pet the P.O.W. Medal and a Purple Heart? After all, her feet were "bloody" when she turned up at that farmhouse in Kant. But was it more the "top" of her feet or the bottom? Was the bleeding the result of injuries related to abduction or a medical procedure gone wrong?
If Jill LIED about her alleged "kidnapping" in Kyrgyzstan, and we believe she did, what does she "have" on those top generals that would cause them to genuflect in her direction?
Could it be the Pentagon doesn't want to displease the major, knowing she can go on OPRAH and THE VIEW and denounce them for any real or imagined "offences?" Has "political correctness" reached the point where men with stars on their shoulders quiver in fright at the prospect of facing feminist wrath? What has this country, what has the U.S. Air Force come to?
If any of Jill's top three enablers has been "intimate" with the marathon runner at any time since she joined the Air Force, that would definitely put their own careers in serious jeopardy if the news got out. Perhaps that explains the extraordinary lengths the generals have gone to in hiding the real facts of this case.
WHY WON'T THE "MAINSTREAM MEDIA" COVER THIS STORY?
We advised Defense Secretary Robert Gates in an OPEN LETTER to demand his OSI generals provide him with a copy of their unredacted report - the one we're told says Jill was not abducted at all, but on another mission that backfired when she couldn't get back to Manas AFB before 2200 hours. Will the Washington POST or New York TIMES file a FOIA for that, or is it easier, as Air Force TIMES does, just to print the Pentagon press releases and leave the real investigative journalism to MilitaryCorruption.com?
In all the years, spanning more than three decades, we served the military, never have we seen one person of such low rank get such incredibly favorable treatment. It should be obvious, if a white male officer or enlisted man disobeyed orders, went AWOL for three days, made false official statements (some of them severely damaging foreign relations between the United States and a host country whom we need to be on good terms with due to renegotiations for rental of Manas AFB), committed fraternization and adultery - you can't get pregnant by yourself - that person would have been court-martialed long ago and sent to Leavenworth.
What is it about Jill Metzger that allows her to get whatever she wants? One of our many Air Force officer friends at Moody AFB commented on Jill's rapid rise in rank and the fact that while she doesn't have a master's degree, she still was promoted from captain to major "below the zone."
"It's not a hard and fast requirement," the fighter-pilot said, "but there's enormous pressure on us to have a master's before we come up for 0-4. Jill is a run-of-the-mill, dime-a-dozen, admin officer who happened to win two Air Force Marathons and established incredible contacts with the brass. Of course, she's received favored treatment. We've seen her jogging on post from time-to-time. I guess that's fine for her, since for the past nine months she hasn't had to do any real work. I know a lot of officers down here resent it, but they fear the OSI and antagonizing our commander. So we're very careful who we talk to."

MilitaryCorruption.com started covering this story after receiving e-mails from concerned Air Force personnel almost immediately after the big media hullabaloo over "kidnapped" Jill flashed across the world's television screens and resulted in thousands of newspaper headlines.
We broke the news that Jill was being "retired" under special circumstances; also that the PTSD "disability" pension ("payoff" or "going-away present" perhaps?) was in the works. Do you think Air Force TIMES or even Stars and Stripes would give us credit, in view of their pathetic coverage? Stripes did finally "come to the dance" earlier this month, but "dissed" our retired major editor-in-chief in a way that must have pleased the DOD owned-and-operated newspaper's pals at the Pentagon.
Staying with this story is not about seeking fame or journalistic awards. We owe it to YOU the reader, the men and women of our armed forces who put your lives on the line 24-7 and don't get preferential treatment, to tell you the truth. We shall continue to do so, no matter what the opposition or the dangers we face.
Those familiar with investigative journalism realize that MCC prints only a portion of the INTEL and "news" that reaches us on a daily basis from all over America and around the world. Our network of sources, built up over seven years, would make some intelligence agencies green with envy. Thus, in this investigation as others, we always hold back a few things in reserve, in case the other side gets "down and dirty." Kind of like reinforcements and heavy artillery ready to be unleashed on the enemy if and when the need arises.
NO EVIDENCE JILL'S OSI AGENT HUBBY A "HOMOSEXUAL"
We don't like to even talk about the private lives of people that are not directly involved in corruption we may be investigating. Yes, we received many reports over the past few months about the possible predilections or sexual preference of Jill's youthful husband and chose not to touch it. Our faithful readers know we have never called Capt. Josh Mayo "a homosexual," yet on one blog recently, someone erroneously and maliciously said we had.
For the record, there is no basis in fact we know of, to any of the rumors Mayo is "gay." Even if we knew that for a fact, we don't find it germane to this investigation. Was his marriage to much-older Jill - wedding pix shows the tall, thin 1st Lt standing beside his petite mid-30's major wife - an "arrangement of convenience?" We simply don't know. And frankly, we don't care. That is their own business.
Our problem with Maj. Metzger and her enabler generals is the way she's been hidden and protected. We think the American people have a right to know if she lied, and why she never faced punishment for her acts. The biggest problem for us comes from her incredible PTSD "disability" pension.
Obviously she can't claim "physical injury" to get the cash bonanza, so undoubtedly the grounds for the money arises from some sort of "trauma." Since Jill has never been in a combat zone - she should get on her knees and thank God she hasn't, because we know and can never forget the horrors of that - the only way she could have been "traumatized" is for her to have actually been kidnapped and abducted and then, as she claims, "overpowering" a guard and running 30 miles to safety.
That "story" is specious on the face of it. And if that is a not-so-clever lie, obtaining a lifetime lucrative pension based upon it is an out and out crime. To accept such money when we are at war and many deserving veterans need rehabilitation and medical care, absolutely boggles the mind. Maybe Jill doesn't realize how terrible such a thing looks.
A PLEA TO JILL METZGER TO "DO THE RIGHT THING"
PASS UP THE PHONY PTSD "DISABILITY" PENSION
Therefore, we are publicly urging Jill to do what Secretary Gates chose not to do - "the right thing." We ask, we plead with you, Maj. Metzger, think about what you are doing. Do you really need that money? We're not saying you demanded that bennie as a "going-away gift." Knowing the "PC-pussified" Air Force brass like we do, it wouldn't be at all unlikely they offered it themselves. But to actually take that pension under the circumstances is utterly shameful and a dishonor to your uniform.
Think of the many "women in blue" - officers and enlisted - who have worked so hard for many years to gain equality and deserve their rank and recognition. Think of what you are doing to them. I assure you, a large amount of our mail critical of you, Jill, comes from females in the U.S, Air Force. Your "marathon" accomplishments and celebrity status don't cut you much slack with them! They feel you have damaged and demeaned their image in the eyes of their colleagues and the public.
Don't worry, Jill. You'll make plenty of money once you're a civilian again. Kelly Flinn; Je$$ica Lynch, and even tough-looking mama, ex-Gen. (busted down to colonel) Janice Karpinski all had book deals and two of them TV movies. There's a big audience out there of fierce feminists who will swallow any tale you have to tell and they've got plenty of disposable cash. They'd be among your most devoted fans.
We beg you, we plead with you, DON'T accept the PTSD pension. You don't have to take it. You don't need the bucks, and frankly, you don't deserve it. Just pass up that loot and we'll give you credit for having some honor and integrity after all. Thank you.
