If investigator's allegations are true, it doesn't get much worse than this. At least when it comes to being an awful parent. An Air Force officer stationed on Guam has been arrested and charged with - among other things - using his own children to make pornographic pictures.

Capt. Michael Dunlop is being held in $100,000 bail after he was taken into custody by cops who say they found numerous sex videos and "devices" in the officer's off-base home. Dunlop's 29 year-old wife, Kendall Rachelle Dunlop, also faces the same charges. They were arraigned at Guam Superior Court in Agana.

According to court documents, the couple face two counts of second degree "criminal sexual contact" - a first degree felony; taking photos of minors in sex acts; use of one's own children in "obscene acts," a first degree felony; and two counts of child abuse; which is a misdemeanor.

Dunlop, 36, was stationed at Anderson AFB and had served in Texas prior to transferring out to the Pacific. His sister Tina Randall, in Nebraska, says her brother is "a good father who dearly loves his sons."

The two "victims" in the case are boys, aged 3 and 5. They have both been handed over to the care of Child Protective Services on the island.

Police who searched the captain's residence said they found up to 1700 photos of nude adults and children on Dunlop's home computer, dozens of sex videos and magazines, and other items they declined to discuss.

One of the boys allegedly told an investigator he'd been photographed in the nude.

Both Capt. Dunlop and his wife are slated to appear at a preliminary hearing. The Air Force has deferred to civilian authorities thus far in the case. If convicted, Dunlop would face immediate dismissal from the service on a BCD (bad conduct discharge).
