Mystery surrounds the sudden death of a Marine Corps captain found dead in his cell Sunday at the Quantico Brig.

Officials aren't giving out any details of what they call the "suicide" of Capt. Michael Webb, other than to say guards found the 46 year-old officer dead in his cell at around 0720 hours. Webb was commissioned in the Corps in 2005.

He had been charged with fraud and larceny regarding pay and allowances. The Marine had been scheduled to stand court-martial later this month.

Webb had been assigned to Quantico's headquarters and service battalion.
