AFFAIR LASTED THREE MONTHS IN 2008

How often do you see a female soldier punished for having a sexual relationship with a male? About as often as the headline: "MAN BITES DOG!"

Well, this time, one of the fairer sex was convicted of ignoring orders to "stay away" from a male junior NCO and will have to take off one stripe. How long it stays off, remains to be seen, but as for now, M/SGT Michelle Morales is an E-7.

Her alleged boyfriend, SGT Cuauhtemoc Gonzalez, is next to be court-martialed on charges of adultery and "participating in an inappropriate relationship."

A SOFT DEAL IN EXCHANGE FOR COURT-MARTIAL TESTIMONY

The buck sergeant testified against Morales at her court-martial and will likely get a soft deal in exchange. The ex-lover boy also said he plans to plead "guilty," at summary court-martial, which should lessen whatever punishment he might have otherwise received.

Morales and her former main squeeze are both members of the 19th Adjutant General Co. at Yongsan Garrison.

An Army prosecutor said Morales would meet with Gonzalez at a pal's off-post apartment. SPC Richard Huss is said to have been the "host" of the illicit goings-on.

"They (Morales and Gonzalez) essentially turned the Huss apartment into their own little love shack," outraged CPT Luke Tillman told the court.

A FAILURE TO REPORT ALL THE NEWS

MilitaryCorruption.com wishes to congratulate Pacific STARS AND STRIPES for reporting the Morales story. We're eager to see if the DOD-funded newspaper will get around to telling the troops that Col. Michael Murphy - the Air Force JAG who functioned as a military lawyer despite being disbarred in two states for more than 20 years - was recently convicted of three counts of larceny and lying on an official statement, but escaped any punishment at all due to a "technicality"

Maybe that one is "too hot to handle," as it certainly doesn't help morale when the rank-and-file see people like Gen. Thomas J. Fiscus and Col Murphy, both top JAG officers, get away with crimes that lower-ranking individuals would be sent to the DB for.

Don't get us started on the infamous Jill Metzger. Whenever we think of combat-wounded vets being denied full disability benefits, we can't help but recall former Air Force "poster girl" Jill's sweet deal of 100% "disability" for "PTSD." She ought to be emptying bed pans at Walter Reed instead of enjoying special treatment as a former two-time winner of the Air Force Marathon with a powerful retired colonel "daddy" and at least one three-star "enabler" still in power.

Air Force Chief-of-Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz ought to hang his head in shame at letting that go unpunished or even addressed. As long as the 800-pound gorilla sits in the middle of the living room, you might as well forget about Air Force "Core Values." Under the present "leadership," they've become just hollow words on paper. Our men and women in Blue are no fools. They know the hypocrisy at the highest levels of the Air Force stinks to high heaven.
