MYSTERIOUS DEATH AT GUANTANAMO

The Navy is stonewalling media requests for more information on the mysterious death of a civilian PX worker at Guantanamo, Cuba.
It's been more than a month since the body of Christopher Tur was found floating in the bay. He was the loving husband of a not-so-loving wife, we are told. Lara Tur is under investigation for having an affair with recently-relieved base commander, Navy CAPT John Nettleton.
The atmosphere at the famous installation is one of fear and apprehension, as a lack of Command communication with workers there, coupled with intimidation tactics to keep them quiet, has caused a great deal of consternation.
"This one has the potential of blowing up, right in the Navy's face, so they are threatening us not to 'spread rumors' or else," one of our CI's at GITMO says.
WHAT WILL BE NAVY'S "OFFICIAL STORY?"
The almost total lack of information there has caused severe morale problems on the island. The longer the case drags on, the more Navy personnel and the civilian work force will suspect a cover-up is being conducted.
Usually, the "suicide" explanation - "Nothing to see here, folks. Move right along" would suffice. But Chris Tur was a very popular worker (loss prevention at the exchange) so many of his friends have taken particular note of the fact his widow Lara didn't attend her husband's funeral services in Pennsylvania.
The latest INTEL - and we emphasize nothing can be confirmed at this point - is that a "bloody rag" was found in an odd and possibly incriminating place. Nettleton's own boat could harbor a clue, and observers are asking why was Tur's vehicle parked on the other side of the island from where his dead body was found floating in the bay?
WAS "INCONVENIENT" HUSBAND BUMPED OFF?
In an earlier article (see related stories box below) we reported a rumor that Tur's body bore marks of violence inflicted prior to his death. If true, that would blow to hell any cover or "official" story that he offed himself when he found out about his wife playing around with CAPT Nettleton.
Did he kill himself, or was he gotten rid of? Who did it? We want to point out, MilitaryCorruption.com is not pointing the finger at either Nettleton or the allegedly adulterous wife. They haven't been named as suspects, yet. They deserve their day in court, if it ever comes to that.
But it is looking more and more like the cloud of doubt and speculation about the bizarre death of Christopher Tur is not going away anytime soon.
[EDITOR'S NOTE]:-- We want to emphasize to our many readers interested in this case, that MCC will never disclose your identity to NCIS or any other entity. All we ask is that whatever INTEL you send us, be sure it is as accurate as possible, for everyone's sake. Thank you.
