AIR FORCE CAPTAIN ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT
The OSI haven't been very forthcoming with details about the case of a Joint Base Langley-Eustis officer who has been hit with sex charges against a youth.
All we know, as of press-time, is that Capt. Abdulrazak Nuhu is in big trouble.
Assigned to the 15th Intelligence Squadron at the Virginia base, the ten-year Air Force veteran stands accused of "sexual assault" upon a 16 year-old youth.
He also is accused of committing "physical harm" to the alleged victim, although specifically what that entails, (pardon the pun), we are unsure.
TO BE COURT-MARTIALED AT YEAR'S END
We don't know if the teenager is a member of the captain's family, or someone unrelated to the USAF officer. AFOSI and the JAG office are playing their cards very close to the vest.
Sources say Nuhu will be court-martialed in November.
The charge sheet reads he committed sexual assault "through threat or fear," caused "bodily harm," and engaged in an assault "consummated by battery."
A captain since 2010, you can be sure that Nuhu will never wear major's oak leafs on his shoulders now. He might instead, be adorned in a prison jump suit by the time Christmas rolls around.
