Fighting for the truth . . . exposing the corrupt
AIR FORCE BRASS TO COURT-MARTIAL
DOCTOR WHO REFUSED ANTHRAX SHOT
Just one day before President George Bush was inaugurated on January 20, and a new administration took over the reins of power at the Pentagon, vengeful Air Force brass, stung by the embarrassment that the first military doctor to refuse the Anthrx shot came from their ranks, moved to make an example of him.
Capt. John Buck, a 32 year-old physician stationed at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi told MilitaryCorruption.com that he has come "to an ethical crossroads" in his life, and that his refusal to take the controversial "vaccine" is a matter of conscience.
The soft-spoken physician, married only a few months ago, said his wife Bridget is standing with him and he is gratified by all the messages of support that have been pouring in from civilians and military around the world.
Buck feels the Anthrax inoculation program "should be made voluntary or we should get rid of it altogether."
Those courageous words anger the "powers-that-be" who have been quick to implement what some observers say "is one of, if not the most, egregious abuses of service members' rights in the history of the United States armed forces."
The bad news was received by Buck in the form of a report dated January 12 in which military judge Lt. Col. James l. Flanary recommended a court-martial for the young doctor.
The report was also given to Buck's commander, Gen. Ted Mercer of the 81st Training Wing who will make his recommendation and take it to Keesler AFB Commander, Maj. Gen. John Regni. A decision is expected in a matter of days.
Because of the timing of the Flanary recommendation, informed sources say the Air Force is determined to destroy Capt. Buck for his "temerity" in disobeying their orders.
The Air Force physician says he is not in violation of regulations since he considers the forced inoculation an "illegal order," and thus, refusing to submit to the shot, is not a punishable crime.
Just as in the case of former Air Force Maj. Sonny Bates, a veteran pilot who declined to take the shot and was the target of court-martial and prison before he won an agreement to leave the service without severe penalty, service members everywhere will be watching what happens to Capt. John Buck.
Is the Air Force stupid enough to expose itself to millions of dollars worth of bad publicity? "Mr. and Mrs. America" won't be eager to send their sons and daughters into an Air Force, a military, where they are "guinea-pigged" with controversial and potentially dangerous drugs on pain of court-martial and prison.
And there is a new Pentagon "chief." Former, and now the new Defense Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld cannot reliably be expected to sit back and let this outrage continue as Clinton "lackey" Bill Cohen would have done.
In fact, there are some rumblings we hear that a Congressional investigation of the bogus Anthrax forced-inoculation program and the role played by the trio of former President Bill Clinton; ex-Secretary of Defense Cohen; and that fat sycophant, ex-Admiral Richard Crowe, is in the offing.
A deeply religious man, highly respected by his colleagues, Buck realizes he is sitting right on top of a "bull's eye" with the courageous stand he has taken.
Over the weekend, Buck predicted, "I think when we look back at this program one day, we will think: "How in the world could this possibly have happened? How could we have done this to our troops?"
