REST IN PEACE, MARINE - NCO AND COMBAT VET

It's hard to write this story, when you have to keep wiping tears from your eyes.
A good Marine, no - a great Marine - is dead at age 28. Medically-retired CPL Robert Richards' demise "does not appear to be self-inflicted" says his lawyer, Guy Womack.
But we know what contributed to this brave Marine's sad end - and so does that Obama boot-licking, nutcase, Commandant Gen. James Amos - known throughout the Corps as "Gen. Anus," the worst USMC leader in history!
It was Amos who engaged in unlawful command influence and lied about telling a three-star Marine general to "crush" Richards and several other Marines involved in (see related stories box below) the infamous Taliban-urination case of several years ago.
SEVERELY WOUNDED ON HIS SECOND
Richards was a young Marine sergeant back then, and was on his third deployment to Afghanistan. Despite earlier being severely wounded by an IED - the Grunt's throat was pierced by shrapnel and one of his feet nearly blown off - this proud Marine NCO chose to return to the fight as soon as he recovered from his wounds.
He pleaded guilty to the UCMJ charges filed against him and explained that he "pissed on" the dead Taliban fighter after he and his buddies lost a fellow Marine in combat - a Grunt whose body was desecrated by the enemy and rigged to explode in a booby-trap.
Reduced one pay-grade to corporal, Richards was given a medical retirement from his beloved Corps. But his troubles and torture didn't end there He lived to see the disgraceful Gen. Amos receive a "whitewash" from the Pentagon I.G.
GEN. AMOS A DISGRACE TO THE CORPS
No punishment for this political flag officer, who, unlike the Marine he tried to destroy, has no Purple Heart medal or combat-action ribbon. Hang your head in shame, Amos. You are unfit to look upon the casket of this fallen hero.
Initial reports are that Robert Richards may have died from an accidental overdose of medications he was taking for pain relief. But no "medicine" short of death, could ease the ache of a broken heart and a Marine Corps career brought to a premature end by an unstable, vindictive James Amos.
"Semper Fi," SGT Richards. We will always remember you, and give you a place of honor in our hearts.
