COL R. SCOTT MURRAYWe weren't there, but one of our C.I.'s was.

And the story he tells, is that 16th Sustainment Brigade commander, COL R. Scott Murray, tried to put a lip-lock on one of the ladies at the community club.

The woman was the wife of one of his battalion commanders, and reportedly, she was not pleased.

Did Murray get a GOMAR for "sexually harassing" the shocked spouse "during a drunken stupor" at the Baumholder (Germany) facility?

"QUIET RETIREMENT" IN COLONEL'S FUTURE

Sources say the colonel will end his commander's tour - assumed only 18 months ago - and "quietly retire."

Before becoming boss at the brigade, Murray served as division G4 officer for the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Murray began his long Army career in 1986 as a helicopter mechanic. He received his butter bar via ROTC when he graduated from college in Ada, Okla. six years later.

The bird colonel is married with two children.
