CADET DANIEL RYERSONWe called it in our story last week. Guilty. Air Force Academy Cadet 1st Class Daniel Ryerson has been convicted in a civilian court of sexually assaulting a female classmate in a Boulder, Colo. hotel.

The 22 year-old upperclassman now faces many years behind bars when he is sentenced on January 12. There was no comment from his defense attorney as to the possibility of appeal.

In addition to his troubles, a spokesperson for the AFA told reporters that Ryerson will be disenrolled from the academy "as soon as possible," according to military regulations.

HE WAS GUILTY ALL ALONG

Ryerson had initially denied he'd had sex with the woman, but a DNA test showed the presence of his sperm.

At the present time, Ryerson is free, but when he is sentenced early next year, he could get anywhere from probation to life behind bars.

The case was prosecuted by the Boulder County District Attorney's Office, due to the fact the sexual assault took place off AFA grounds.
