MARINE SERGEANT MAJOR IN "GENERATION KILL"
"PO-LEECE THAT MOOSTASHE!" screamed the runt-like Marine sergeant major who was featured in the HBO television series "Generation Kill." That popular program chronicled the lives of a unit of fighting Marines in Iraq.
The scene of Sgt. Maj. John Sixta's snarling mug looked almost comical to viewers of the much-watched TV program. But Sixta wasn't just "hamming it up for the cameras," we are told. He really is like that, and has a severe case of "little man syndrome."
On HBO, the top-ranking Marine NCO came off as a hard-ass martinet who can never harass Grunts enough.
But in reality, he may have been even more. Like - a sicko child molester and afficionado of sexual relations with young girls. A lowlife pervert.
The 54 year-old retired E-9 faces similar sex charges in California.
MARINES ARE CELEBRATING TONIGHT
"Mr. Potato Head," as he was known to the Grunts that served under him, couldn't resist getting up in the face of some Marine private a good head-taller than him.
When he wasn't hollering about facial hair, Sixta yelled at the battle-weary Marines to tuck in their shirts and maintain proper grooming at all times.
His extreme vulgarity was on full view in the HBO series. At one point he snarled at his men: "You're squealin' like a band of butt-fucked Vassar bitches." .
Sixta had been employed by the U.S. Army as a free-fall instructor at the Special Warfare Center outside Yuma, AZ. We could not confirm at press time whether or not he still had a job there.
Any readers who served with this character during past years in the Corps are encouraged to write us with your memories of this creep. Thank you.
