What killed Army Chaplain (CPT) Yohan Lee?
It's been ten days since the officer's body was discovered off-post in Manhattan, Kansas. The Fort Riley pubic affairs office issued a press release with very few details. For example, no cause of death was cited, not even the location where the chaplain's body was found. All that was released was "the case is under investigation." What's taking so long?
Lee, a naturalized American citizen and chaplain since 2009, was assigned to the Third Assault Helicopter Battalion, First Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. He arrived on Fort Riley in January 2014.
WHAT'S THE HOLD UP?
The 45 year-old chaplain appeared in good health, according to our CI's on post, and had no known enemies.
When we called the PAO, they were puzzled why Manhattan cops remain silent as to even the most basic details of this death. We were unable to get through to the detective bureau when we called Tuesday.
We have many readers at Riley and guess some of you can help us get to the bottom of what really happened. You are welcome to contact MilitaryCorruption.com using the yellow contact tab under our masthead. Your identity will, of course, be protected. Thank you.
